NJ Gov Crash

It's been determined Corzine's SUV was doin' 91 mph when it crashed the other day...I'm sorry he's hurt and all, but I really hope this wakes up the powers that be and makes them realize the HIGH-SPEED transport of gov't officials isn't worth the risk...I used to be close to a state senator who regularly was transported at 100 mph from his home town to the state capitol...

What's the mentality that tells these people their time is so important that it's OK to put the driving public at risk, waste taxpayer $$ and divert state resources...that crash could have involved any number of civilians and the bottom-line of what that crash will cost the taxpayers of NJ will be staggering ... I hope he's OK, but I also hope charges are brought against him and the state trouper driver ... they gotta rethink this practice...

Did you notice that the condition of the Suburban didn't appear to be that bad? *Also the driver and other passenger only had minor injuries. *It was reported that the governor wasn't wearing a seat belt, but that the other two were. *Hmmmm...

Seat belts good.

It was so important that they be driving that fast, NOT.

Seat belts not only save lives, but they are often the difference in no injury or a busted lip and a gash on the forehead.

I get wrecked in these all the time and never have been hurt.

Arrogance of power is the name of the game, especially here in NJ. Above the law is another popular theme.
At one time we were a nation built on a principle of citizen soldiers and citizen politicians.
For decades now the politician side of that equation has been securely entrenched in a rich man and media based elite group.
That is going to be our down fall if we don't change it. That is why I am going to be exercising the theory of G.R.I.P
Get rid of incumbent politicians. From now in in my life, and I don't care who the papers say is who, the TV or the special interests.
I decided this past year that my only special interest is going to be us.

That guy in Jersey in an ***. He should be cited for not having his seat belt, but that never happens, only the driver gets the ticket for not having his passengers seat belted in.
