Had to vent a little frustration. Drove to work this morning and passed 5 boats headed the other way toward the launch ramp. Today is the first good weather window we had since the salmon season opened at the beginning of the month. Naturally, the seas are predicted to build to 9 feet over the weekend.

I think I have bad weather karma...

It's not you brother, we all get it, I had a brand new boat sitting in my drive for a month before I could even launch it due to weather conditions.
it's the Lords way of keeping us humble :)

My buddy Dean is one of the Sargents here at the jail. *He came in a few moments ago and told me this:
"I just got a call from Todd, he's fishing at the rock (a 17 mile run for us). *The ocean is glass flat and the ling cod are chewing the paint off the bottom of the boat. *They boated 4 in the first 10 minutes. *Now I just went to the Captain and asked for tomorow off so I can go fishing. *Why don't you grow a set of stones and ask your boss for tomorrow off."

Whats a guy to do...?
