OK, I believe it was an accident
Man hurt raising anchor,
rope got tangled around his neck. http://www.northjersey.com/page.php?...d2cWVlRUV5eTM= In north Jersey, yeah it was an accident. |
Re: OK, I believe it was an accident

Re: OK, I believe it was an accident
Whadda ya call the 1/2" rod the flukes of an anchor attach to?...that rod extends past the flukes on each side...I saw video of an ex police chief gettin' off a boat w/one of those rods penetrating his skull and buried into his brain ... two EMTs were tryin' to help hold it, but he wouldn't let them touch it...doctor surgicly removed it...
He had been sittin' on the stern of the boat at cruise-speed, when the unsecured anchor slipped off the bow of the boat and into the 30 mph water...when the rope went tight, it jerked the anchor back toward the boat and sunk 4" of that rod right into his head :o |
Re: OK, I believe it was an accident
I saw the video of that Reel! That's a true story. Can you imagine the force of that thing flying through the air lodging in the man's skull? He is REELY LUCKY! :o
