The American Way(unfortunate but true anymore)
 

A Somali arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant to the United States.

He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says, "Thank you Mr. American for letting me in this country, giving me housing, food stamps, free medical care, and free education!"

The passerby says, "You are mistaken, I am Mexican."

The man goes on and encounters another passerby. "Thank you for having such a beautiful country here in America!"

The person says, "I not American, I Vietnamese."

The new arrival walks further, and the next person he sees he stops, shakes his hand and says, "Thank you for the wonderful America!"

That person puts up his hand and says, "I am from Middle East, I am not American!"

He finally sees a nice lady and asks, "Are you an American?"

She says, "No, I am from Africa!" Puzzled, he asks her, "Where are all the Americans?"

The African lady checks her watch and says..."Probably at work.

Being politically corrrect is so incorrect, George Carlin ought to do something on it.
Native American - Indians? No. America wasen't America then so how the hell did this name become correct.
Pick on all the "whatever" American designations there are and see how silly they are. Unless you really did immigrate from Africa, I'll gladly pin the name "African American" on you.

Anybody who claims to be African American, Irish American, Italian American, Etc..Etc.. Needs to have their citizenship revoked because they are claiming more alleigence to the first country and should go back to that country!!! If you claim to be an American drop the other country and be an AMERICAN!!!! Just my 2 cents worth.

Senator Glen McConnell(SC) set in motion a bill to eliminate drivers liscense test( for SC) in any other language other than English, he stated that the DMV is performing " an illegal act by allowing people who can't read or understand highway or road signs, warnings, or instructions, to drive on our highways". He's got my vote!

By the way, Reel, if you've ever been by his store off of Montigue, he's moving it and having a 50% sale on everything in the store.
