Redneck deer story of the day
True story:
Today one of my workers was out front on the golf cart picking up trash as he does every morning. He comes back and tells me that since we got here (about 30 minutes prior) someone has hit and killed a spotted fawn out front. He tells me it aint breathin, but its still warm. :D I think wow fresh backstraps...and tender too :o So, Im on my way up the driveway in the golf cart with skinning knife in hand all giddy with excitement. I cant wait to get that stuff on the grill or dribble some gravy over it. :D Well I get there and and the deer is GONE. :o There are tire tracks on the side of the road right where he was laying.... :o Someone beat me to my roadkill.... :P Only in Bama. ;D |

Re: Redneck deer story of the day
Stink, I started to read this post and thought you were my neighbor for a minute. My brother hit a fawn this past weekend and called a friend to see if he wanted it. the neighbor asked if it was still warm, and came and got it. Almost the same story same time different state. :o

Yeah you just have to think though...a car may be going slow compared to a bullet, but look at the weight. 160 FPS aint that fast unless its 4,222,000 grains of "bullet" :D |
Re: Redneck deer story of the day
;D Don't know what's funnier, that or the fact that you took the time to figure all that out! *;D ;D
Hell the numbers ain't even right. :P Add another zero to the bullet weight. :D |
