My early B-day gift.
 

Well today is my B-day, but yesterday evening I took my little girl fishin for the first time. We went over to a friend of mines lake. She loved it!!! After all this rain all we managed were some itty bitty bream, but I only cared that we got at least ONE...for her.

I did however get the inevitable question from a very witty little three year old..."daddy does that hook HURT the cricket?" ::)

Well after explaining that I dont hink it does she hooked her OWN!!! :o

We also seen FOUR beavers, my buddy has these things basically tame...we got within at least 10 feet from one of em.

Here is one of the *beavers we seen at the lake. One of them I swear went 40-50lbs, he was the size a a small labrador!! :o

Happy B-day and cherish these day's with your Daughter and don't blink because they grow up to fast my Daughter is 20 now and it feels like yesterday she was catching her first fish.

What a SWEETIE...sorry I missed this thread the other day...my oldest just turned 16 and is driving...boyfriend, too...she was your daughter's size...oh, seems like week before last...savor every moment... :-*...
