Re: For Blue and Stinkman

Lets try this again, apparently my daughters camera took corrupted photos ::)

Anywho, thought you two guys and others would appreciate these since some hunting etc. photos were coming up.

Charles Russell Wilderness area Montana. 6x6 Elk, still hunting with my bamboo and yew Renaissance Longbow

A spiffy wool clad woodsman, still hunted buck shot at eight yards with my good friend/bowyer Chuck Jones Osage Royale

The Elk on the wall in my dungeon with a few others that met their fate to the wooden shaft

One of the walls of fame, actually The wall of fame for me

The belly side of the Renaissance Longbow made exclusively for my shoppe by my friend/bowyer Rick Ingrahm

These three bows have dealt silent death for over thirty deer between them, left to right The Monarch
the Renaissance LongBow The Osage Royale

My other passion, black powder. This is a copy of a firearm that was common in the late 1700's it is a smooth bore .62 cal. (20ga) shoots round lead ball or shot and does both very well. The all around survival weapon. Will take the largest game or small game and fowl. This baby I built and it has taken many of all three

http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...z/IMGP0479.jpg

http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...z/IMGP0483.jpg

This sweet baby is a copy of a Tennesee Mountain Rifle circa early to mid 1800's and I made her also. She is 50.cal which is bigger than most of the originals. She shoots to 125 yards real sweet with open iron sites and my old eyes
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...z/IMGP0483.jpg

All iron furniture on her as per tradition, my shooting pouch and scrimshawed horn

Very impressive stuff my man, but, I really expect no less from you ;).

Reading this makes me want to take a walk in the woods, which I think I'll do this afternoon...

Re: For Blue and Stinkman

Do it Stink, get a couple of buds and do it yourself, thats how I did it with three friends. Don't put it off any longer than you have to. I can tell you hunting out west for big game is the most incredible thing you will do in your life in the sporting world ;)
