Hey guess what I seen!!
 

Hey guys while I was out fishing saturday I saw the neatest thing. I am currently running an 18 Wellcraft sport center console...1990 model while I work on the baby *(V 20). Anyway upon returning to the launch we met and talked to a guy there with the same exact boat as mine except he has fully enclosed the transon and put a bracket like Macojoe's on it with a 140 hp. It was completely redone and repainted...VERY SHARP lookin little boat and I thought you guys would think so too.....I Know I Know...pictures, man I really got to get a digicam. *::)


Any of u *seen one smaller than a 20 wth a full transon and bracket like that...first for me. *8)

They are few and far between . I saw one years ago when they were building them . It was on the lot for sale . I don't think that I have seen one since . That is a cool little boat....

I looked at one about a year ago. The transom was finished and was ready for a bracket. Wellcraft could not tell me if I would have the thru hulls under water. I was considering a v-4 engine (Yamaha 130, Johnson 140 hp). The max hp was 150 but then you're into a heavy v-6.

WOW...I was lookin' at an 18 w/a full windshield before I found V20...was gonna take 140 off Thunderbird, etc., etc....

It really was a neat hull...pretty bare though...needed LOTS of work...think you had to duck under windshield to get to sliding hatch...wasn't wild about that...
