pulpit question

how hard/practical would it be to build a pulpit that the anchor comes in from the bottom? like on bigger boats. i ask cause i got this remote controled spot light that i am lookin for a place to mount. and i think right out front on the pulpit would be a good spot.

I almost made mine that way, it has to be a longer pulpit then the ones we have built here but its not hard at all.
Just need to cut a hole in it and buy the roller insert.
