Red x where picture was ?
 

On a couple of threads, some locations where I posted pictures now have a small box with a red x in it at the top left corner where the picture was.
Remembering some of the pictures were ones I deleted from the photobucket site, I was wondering if this was my own doings and causing the missing pictures in the thread?

I would have to say yes. If it ain't in photobucket, then there is no way for the server to call it up.

Yep, when you post a picture your just refferencing the post to another website for the picture. So if the web address for the image changes or is no longer there, then there is nothing for this site to put up for an image.
