Merry Freakin' Christmas to all ...we're gonna take 3 boats to Lake Hartwell for a multi-pronged assault on the Striper population tomorrow...what better way to wind down after a stressfull ::) Holiday Season...the lake has nearly 1,ooo miles of shoreline and right now those striped varmits are shallow, so first you gotta find 'em , then sneak up on 'em!
If we get into 'em, I'll post it...if we get skunked, you won't hear much...isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

I just got back from my brothers, and I am dead!! Two days of travling all over the plase! :'(
Glad to be home!! I hate my house all messed up with the tree and all so I get rid of all that stuff ASAP, This year also, My tree and all is gone for another year!!

The party is over and now it is time to think fish!!

Assault on Hartwell was great day on the lake, but slow on the fishin'. 26 degrees at 7:30, warmed up to high 50s, no wind, sonar blacked out with fish, great blueback herring for bait, birds diving....just no fish biting...got two smallies in my boat, other boat couple of more


just gotta keep going back till they start biting...34 pounder few years back, one last year nearly spooled me before spitting hook...i almost broke down

it's either striper fish or pay a freakin' shrink and fishin's mo-better

Hope ya get into them reelapeelin. Unfortunately for us Northeast guys, it's couch time with the shrink now.
