Re: Simple_Gesture in the Gallery
Great looking rig ! What kind of range do you get on the 40 gal. wit an I/O ?

Re: Simple_Gesture in the Gallery
An average trip we'll take offshore is anywhere from 60 to 75 miles roundtrip. About 12 miles from dock to inlet, then another 15 to 25 miles offshore depending on where we are traveling. So with that a little trolling and depending on the seas we'll usually burn anywhere from 25 to 30 gallons. Most trips we'll be switching tanks just as we're getting back to the inlet. So we basically get about 2.8 to 3 mpg.

Re: Simple_Gesture in the Gallery
Not bad at all . Are you running the original engine and outdrive?
|
Re: Simple_Gesture in the Gallery
Nah it's not the original engine...Me and my brother bought the boat in 1998. We ran that engine for a year...then my uncle sold his 26 bertram and he had a spare engine lyin around his yard which he was never gonna use. Therefore he gave it to us. It only had 20 hours on it...So we made out pretty good with that.
