rub rail

has anybody made any changes to their rub rail? im getting tired of washing the rope insert.it is alwaysdirty.

I have the same concerns. Plus it will scratch the hell out of you. Its hard on big fish that have to be pulled over side that you want to release. After releasing Black Drum I was distraught to see as much slim as I did on the rope in the rub rail. That had to be tough on the fish.
