looking at v20 cc anything i should look out for
 

im looking into buying a 1982 v20 stepfisherman wihtan 88 1988 jonhson 140 vro on it , are ther any thigs in particular portions of aspects of the boat i should chek befoer bying it.

I would make sure that there is no play in the transom. If the boat has been kept in the water there is the chance that water may have worked it's way into the wood . I am sure that you would also have the motor tested by a trusted mechanic .

the boat has been trailered and on land most of is llife so i doubt much water is in the transome should the transome be conside4ralbey lower than that of the v20 steplift cuddy cabin?

It should be the same . Some were made for 20" shaft and others were built for a 25" .
