I got what I wanted!!
 

I only work 4 days a week now!! It took me jumping threw hoops, since last summer, but I got what I wanted.
I now work four 10 hour shifts, and 3 days off. I also work weekends at my request cause I don't fish them to stay away from all the weekend boat ramp night mares!!

So I get out Mon morning 8am, and go back Thursday 10 pm

And since it is so hard to fill the night shift (3rd) on the weekends I am going to be able to take my ten days of vaction 1 day a week for ten weeks!! That means I am only going to work 3 days a week all summer!! Fri, Sat, Sun ;D

Welcome to the club. I only work 3 days a week (normal shift without OT) too. ;D ;)

Bass NO!! >:( They got real strick this year!! I use to send my Bass Catch Report with My renew, But this year a lot of guys including me!! >:( Got caught with are pants down!! If you do not get your catch report in by Oct 15th you lose you permit for the following year!!

So this year I am not able to Commercial Bass!!

So I got a Scup permit instead, they were getting them pretty good last year!! and I will be able to Scup right out Robison and Middle ground before after during a Fluke trip.

Its all Good, NOT!!!

That's my regular schedule. Sun, Mon, Tues. 3/12 hour nights, get paid for 40 hours and I usually work at least one night a week OT (sometimes more in the winter). My regular work schedule is only 145 days/year. Also, if I work a Saturday night, it's double time. ;D Life is good!

MJ - I lost my Bass Permit too last year . . . totally sux.

There's only 360 fluke permit holders left in Mass.

Go for COD . . . it's much easier to catch your limit and the price is usually around $2/lb

yep it's nice to have off I am a Firefighter/Paramedic and we work 24hours on and 48 hours off so 1 day on and 2 da's off gives me the time to fish, I guess fishing keeps my mind off some bad calls I go on. Like they say rich people have there shrinks and us poor people have fishing.
