Bow Pulpit
fillet 1 I'm here looking at your bow set up again and really envy it *Please post close up photos when you can Thanks Bill Mc ;D
Does the pulpit interfere with the sliding hatch? * |
Re: Bow Pulpit
Mac,
I dont have any pics yet. I'll get you one when I get the cover off again. It doesnt interfere with the hatch at all. Its a solid pc of teak about 2 inches thick. Its Thru bolted with ss carriage bolts. It has a Good roller assy. The rode drops down into the cuddy through a hawse fitting with cap. Inside the cuddy the "shelf" area has a hole in it for the rode to drop down in to the anchor locker area. |
Re: Bow Pulpit

Re: Bow Pulpit

Re: Bow Pulpit
This has been on my mind all winter. Do we need a pulpit or could we get away with a Windline URM-1,2,3,4 type setup?

Re: Bow Pulpit
Windline makes anchor rollers. If you do a yahoo or google for Windline URM you will see them.

Re: Bow Pulpit
My buddy has the Windline setup on his V20. Works out pretty good. Pics in my gallery at the end.
MJ, who says the Starboard needs to be glued? Two layers, countersink some holes on top, counterbore underneath for the nuts and through bolt with stainless hardware. Cut the slot, fit a Windline pulpit roller. Router all the edges and attach to boat with through bolts and backing plate. Done! Lets do it. |
