may have found one
I think I found my boat ; It's a 1986 hull very clean inside and
out with a nearly mint condition 1993 150 johnson h.p. Does anybody have any good (or bad) feed back on this outboard? it's a 'looper",or loop charged, not to familiar w/ that one. all responces are appreciated |

Re: may have found one
thank you fillet for the reply, and thank BS for that link.Anybody know what those cylinder compression #'s should be?

Re: may have found one
I think 90 psi - Maybe someone else knows better then me.

Re: may have found one
Phester...I'm tryin' to get that comp# from iboats...will post if I can get it... ;)
Shicks...it's really BOTH...if all #s lower than spec then all cyls bad... ;) |
Re: may have found one
I really don't think the pressure reading is the important thing. The difference between all the numbers is the biggie. They should should all be within about 10% of each other, whether it be 125 psi or 90 psi.

Re: may have found one
Phester..Brother I'm glad for ya that everything's checkin' out, but if compression's not what it should be, then it can give you some BARGAINING power... ;) ;D
Good you're not waitin' on me though cause iboats won't let me on forum for some stoopid-a$$ reason... ::) ;D |
