Re: Few things about Starboard
DID ANY ONE EVER HERE THAT THE STARBOARD ,OR OTHER PLASTICS CAN BE WELDED ,OR SOMTHING LIKE THAT?

Re: Few things about Starboard
Yes. Plastics, including Starboard and the like, can be welded. Basically a thermo-heat process of controlled melting, bonding, and laying a plastic fillet in the seam.

Re: Few things about Starboard
There's a guy 60 miles away who makes GREAT bait-tanks outta Starboard-like plastic...he "plastic-welds" all the seams on his tanks...I have one that's probably 12-15 yrs old and know of several older ones still around...NEVER heard of one that leaked or needed repair due to "weld" failure...he has a special heat-gun that runs a bead of plastic to the seam...TIGHT... :D...
