Just a cheap tarp. You know the ones you you can find cheap just about anywhere in blue. West Marine had them in white on sale last year. I originally planned to cover the entire cockpit area but was concerned that boarding would be difficult. When I saw reelappeelin's boat in the gallery I decided to duplicate his cover. This covers the part of the boat I'm most concerned with and still allows easy access to the boat. I have another larger tarp I cover the entire boat with for winter storage. I aligned the snaps to the existing snaps on the windshield frame and hull. I can post more detailed pictures if you want to try to duplicate mine.

What you see there is a part of a 10 x 20 tarp. I cut it, hemmed it (don't tell my wife I know how to use the sewing machine ), and then put the snaps on to match the exisiting snaps on the boat. Took me about 6 hours total.

Hey Rick...sweet V you got there...is that an old Coke-style bottle opener on the port dash?... 8)...

Glad the cover idea worked for you...yours looks GREAT... ;) ;D...

Rick...could you let me know the measurement of the transom from inside the boat to outside the transom on that boat?...measuring fiberglass from just behind the back seat to rub-rail on back of transom...thanks... :)...

Hey, MJ...check out hatch sliders on Rick's boat...look like they extend farther forward than our old buckets... :)...

Yup, that is a bottle opener. Not Coke though, Corona. ;D

The measurements across the transom vary. On the starboard side along the outer edge of the cutting board it's 21" straight back from behind the seat to the back of the boat not including the rub rail. On the centerline the same measurement increases to 23.5".
