Girlfriend leaves for Vegas on Wednesday - Boyfreind buys boat on Thursday. Coincidence ?! I think not!

Well I just pulled in the drive with an 82 cuddy! Sold my 29 sport cruiser this spring but still had the itch. Dad had a newer (back then) V20 when I was in school and I'm familiar with this boat and it's ride on the Great Lakes - so I went alooking. Saw a bunch at different stages of life and price levels. This is the one that followed me home.

The skinny:
- V8 200hp Mercruiser - consistent compression on all 8, needs a carb cleaning
- older trailer - this will be part of the project
- bottom paint, brown bottom paint :'(
- soft gas access panel - not too bad of a fix
- your basic 23 years of nicks and bruises.

The V20 gallery here will be my inspiration (perspiration!). I have ideas from all you. I envision white with navy blue boot stripe and cover/bimi. I'll try to follow the 'Pipe Dream' model sans the gas tank issue, add a 'Fillet1' tackle hatch and chart holder, and MJ durabak floor.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...what happens on your new V20 goes on the lake!!! ;) ;D...congratulations...keep us in the loop on the progress... 8)...sounds like you got some great plans for a pretty neat V20!!... ;D...
