surprise
At the marina testing out repairs to my engine and I spot a gorgeous v-20 with full enclosure pulling in. Stop to talk to the guy. Guess what , not a v-20 it was a Chris Craft 2121 I thought I was seeing things. Boat was beeeeeautiful all redone. I/O. Same hull flair and lines 21" long. Any of you guys seen one of these. I forgot to ask him what year but I would guess mid 80's. It looked like it was made from the same mold and/or designer Hunt.

I think it's called a Scorpion...I think...

Re: surprise
Did Hunt design it to. I'm telling you cb until you get close and start looking at details you can't tell them apart. Well maybe some of you guys can. How well were they made? Comparable to a v-20?

Re: surprise
Yea I think that is it except the one I saw was I/O with front cuddy like a V-20. What do ya know about them?
|
Re: surprise
In the photo it does'nt appear to have as much bow flair but when it was sitting in the water very similar

Re: surprise
Willy, I saw one (a cuddy) on the trailer goin' thru Mt Pleasant in Charleston...you're right...they are nearly exact!...main give-away on the one I saw was color...dark mustard color (bout the same as baby poop)... :P...
That W/A looks pretty neat, but doesn't have the FLAIR!!... :)... |
