question for SKOOLS,LORD SKOOLS I've never seen or heard of this on any OMC/JOHNSON, and to date, nor has anybody else I've asked...so hear it goes....my 150 oceanrunner says on the front of the motor cover[in sorta fancy lettering] "SILVER STAR SERIES"....any clue as to what that means?? |

Re: question for SKOOLS,LORD SKOOLS Phester, just asked my John/Evin Dealer (also got my Honda there, so we can talk)...he said the Silver Star Series Ocean-Runners had Stainless Steel component upgrades for saltwater use...I asked about any ''performance'' issues and he said no performance upgrades...that should be a pretty darn good motor... ;)... |

Re: question for SKOOLS,LORD SKOOLS I was thinking the silver star was a motor that had been rebuilt by someone of Lordship status ;) but I stand corrected! |

Re: question for SKOOLS,LORD SKOOLS um no all Ocean Runners had Stainless bolts for Salt Use. But what color is it? It could be a Commerical version. The Model will tell all. |
