Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
2nd one is all me. Slot, is the $1100 count the mounts and tax? I'm curious to know if the two tops you have pictured are exactly the same width considering the older V20's were a touch wider and different coaming around the cockpit. I'm not ready to buy one yet or I would contact Atlantic directly with those questions.
Thanks, Blue |
Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
Tell me why would you want an arch as opposed to a hard top, seems like the hard top gives you all a arch does but also so much more. I'm trying to figure how I'm going to afford a hard top.

Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
Atlantic Towers makes their arches and T-Tops as general fitzalls within certain size ranges. So, they are somewhat adjustable is what I'm saying. Looks like they've gone up in price a bit. Mj was quoted a Boat Show price of the $900 range a year or two ago. I know several years ago they were having some weld issues such as stress cracks and such, but I haven't heard anything negative in a while now.

Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
Blue, I think its $1140 delivered, mounts and all. They've made so many of them, you call up and tell them the year and model and they assemble the mounting hardware and the appropriate arch adn put it on the truck.
Why I don't want a hard top? I do alot of light tackle fishing and casting and feel that I could work around the arch. Alot of times I'll stand in the cuddy to cast up front while somebody else works in the stern. Hard top would get i the way too much. My bimini stays in the shed most of the year. Airslot |
Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
Would LOVE a hardtop, but on High Rock lake where I spend my summers there are three bridges that cannot be passed under with such a setup. That's why I have straps on my bimini top so I can flip it down really easy to get under the bridges.
When my soft-top wears out, I might consider a hardtop if I don't have an arch by then! Seriously though, I doubt I ever put a hardtop on my boat, but never know. |
Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
My setup will probably be the hinged arch. Mine wont be removable because of ant., radar, lights, lots of wires going up that rascal.

Re: Radar / Fishing Arch
That is a sweet setup. I really like the arch with a bimini.
