weight of a 73 v-20? anyone know?
Hey guys!
I'm buying a trailer, and am not exactly sure of the weight of my v-20 1973 20 cc The manufacturers hull weight. I have 40 gallons of fuel and a 4 stroke johnson 140 to figure in as well. Thanks a mill! |

+- 3000lbs is the best I can do for you. Your best bet is to look in the History section of this site and see if you can find the specs in one of the old brochures. If you can't find the '73 brochure, I'm sure one of the other 70's brochures would work fine as there isn't all that much difference in the early hulls. But I don't know alot about the CC models either :-/

I took this from www.nada.com. This I beleive is for a bare hull only. Don't forget to add motor, fuel and accesories.

Fuel is 6 lbs per gallon I believe if that helps.

Thanks ya'll
I ended up ordering a Tidewater TBT3700D2 tandem axel- disc brakes -2 bunk (float-on) it's rated for 3700 pounds size is ST175X80D13C $2387.00-Me thinks that's a steal! 1920lbs for hull 425lbs for dry motor 300lbs of fuel 300lbs addition of closed transom and bracket 170lbs Batteries tackle leaning post anchor 3115lbs if the hull is 1900lbs, so I have 585lbs of fudge factor, but i'm safer than the single axel rustbucket it came with!! |
