DOES ANY BODY KNOW THE ANGLE OF ROD HOLDERS FOR A 1978 V-20.? THE BOTTOM OF THE EXISTING ONES GO THRU THE ROD BOXES.

Probably 30*, Lesterus...that's pretty standard....and thru the rod box is pretty standard, too...that's about the only way to do it ... don't wanna use rod-holders too short or they won't keep the rod in the boat :o :P ...

MINES ARE VERY OLD ALUMINUM ROD HOLDERS, PIECE OF CRAP, I DON'T THINK THEY ARE STANDART, I REMEMBER YEARS AGO I PULLED THEM OUT AND TRYED TO GET REPLACEMENT, BUT FOR SOME REASON I DONT' REMEMBER I COULDN'T GET THEM, GONNA TRY AGAIN.

i just bought 2 stainless with caps from BOATFIX for 27.50 a pair.

I picked *2 up @ West Marine for about $28.00 a peace.
They're nice, but when I got them home they had two seprate mounting patterns *???
Good thing I live under a mile from WestMarine, actually from the looks of my credit card statement its a really bad thing :'(

West Marine, ACE Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot all those places show up on mine.
In Lewes, they are all on the same two mile stretch of road.
