Re: FLOSCAN

Navman for about $150 works just as well. Lowrance has one as well now. I've been using the Navman for 2 years and its great.

I have both. NAVMAN 2100 in my wellcraft and a 5500 Floscan in my Aquasport. The floscan sensor is a pain to mount and not has harden as the Navman sensor. However, I have both lock up on me so either way routine maintenance on the sensor is a fact of life. My preference purely based on price is the Navman. I got mine form BOATFIX.com for 112.00. If you go with the navman make sure you switch the units to gallons (shipped set to liters) or it looks like your burning a whole lot of gas out of the gate.
