Help Wellcraft boat ummmmm
 

It's just not a v20, Model no. 186 ss/s yes i know it's not the type of boat you guy's boat with, but it has some unusal charastic's.

That is it is very fast and stable, i can run @ 60 mph and im under propped using a 4.3 efi motor and a 20p 4bl prop. Opp's that's a 22 pitch

They only made this boat for one year, does anyone know any facts on this boat? the speed is gps verified and im trying to fugure out why it seems to preform so well.

Well, in looking at the Wellcraft website, it looks like that particular model was made for three years or so. According to their performance data, the 4.3L spinning a 14 1/4"X23"P prop, she'll hit 55.7 mph at WOT (4700 rpm). You may find that you're over-revving the motor and may want to re-prop. If you're not over-revving, be happy. 8)

;D I know that post was a bit humorous......... ;D at my self, Ive had a few boat's just never one that ran so fast for a I/O, I guess it's just part of Wellcraft's line or history of prefomance........ It's all new to me oh well.

Chit i understand, when i hit 60 with that 4blade it was a bit like se@............... lol still feel like i luv it the morning after....... ;)
