Cabin Hatch repair??

Hey guys, whats the easiest way to fix the sliding hatch on a 1989. It is broken on the two corners near the helm. I'd assume from some knuckle head standing on it. It has a foam core not wood. Not sure how to address the foam core?? thank in advance. ???
