OB Motor Sounds...
 

Ya'll were talkin' about the way motors sound after a full transom job and I didn't wanna hi-jack the thread...

Made a 10-12 mile run up Lake Hartwell the other day w/ this 250 Verado pegged at 5 grand...we got a late start, so he just let 'er go...

No engine noise...sounded like a muted turbine engine in the distance... 8) ...and yes...we did pull in the lines and buckets ;D ...

It is amazing isn't it Oz, I was very impressed with the sound of my 60 four stroke on the lake even in a notched transom aluminum boat. That is exactly what my buddy described the sound as, a turbine engine winding up. kewl ;D

Just so I don't steal reel's post, *it's not as quiet as a 4 stroker but if that 4 stroker lasts 17 years *I'll say its as good as the Force. *I think I may have it sold. *They pull it tomorrow then I repair the transom cap like Stinky and Skools did then we get the 150 E-Tec . *I'll video tape the E-Tec and compare it to the Force. *Reel I'm glad you pulled the the bucket in and stored the poles. *Billy Mac *;D

Glad to hear your an e-tec brother ....... I was at my marina on sat and a guy there has a brand new 33 ft hydro sport with triple 250 etecs and with all three running we were still able to have a normal conversation on the back of his boat

Someone is going to get a good motor there Mac. And your right. I hope my 60 yammie four lasts 17 years. H@ll I hope I last 17 years. ;D

Great vid Billy Mac!! Thats a badass V and that etec is going to be a night and day difference in sound.

Thanks for sharing. Try to get us some video of those "eyes" ya'll catch ;)
