Re: Set to splash on Saturday!!
the weather in N.Y. has finally gotten more spring-like. I probably will uncover the V today, drop the batteries in and fire her up. However , I REALLY need to get out on the water so I'm takin the tin boat out for a spin and maybe hunt a few flatties. Water temps are still in the low/ mid 40's so I don't expect to be mohawkin any fish....at least I can say "I went fishin today" ;D

Yeah Ferm, just taking it easy for the first 5 hrs of use. |
Re: Set to splash on Saturday!!
You said before you have a V-8 right? If so, how does it push the V?
And I'll leave the FORD out of it, Should have gotten a F-250 though(DIESEL!!!). |
Re: Set to splash on Saturday!!
YEAH-YEAH-YEAH should coulda woulda. My next truck will be sportin a diesel for sure.
The 5.0L Mercruiser really gets the V going. I couldn't imagine going with anything smaller. I don't have first hand records of speeds yet, that will come after the break-in is complete. Oh Ferm, don't tell any of the other Ford boys, but the V has a Chebbie engine in it ;) |
