Churnin' up the water at Lake Hartwell yesterday

Did somethin' I haven't done B4...got a storage shed at the lake to keep 'er in for the summer...avoid the dreaded 1.5 hr tow down the Intersate :P ...

Pretty big, Slinger...nearly 1,000 miles of shoreline, 190' deep out in front of the dam ... and LOTS of baitfish ... perfect striper habitat ... ;) ...

Phes...this wasn't a fishin' trip...preparation for many to come ;) ...

Water must be alot warmer down there REEL. I thinks its still cold up here, but my friends are diving today anyway out of Jersey. Blue balls for a week. :-[

Good to see you out on the water, did the cool front make it down there? It was low 70's here yesterday.

I rented me a covered space for my V @ the coast as well, save dragging it 4 hrs each time, plus each time I obtain another item for it, I have a great excuse to go to the coast. ;)

Water temp@ Lake Hartwell 69*... so still a lil' nippley ...


R'man...one reason's as good as another to go "visit" the boat ;) 8) ...

Channel 4's weather chick said water temp at beach 70*... lake temps down here are generally close to beach temps... ;D ... 'bout time to do some cut-baitin' 8) ...
