our days are numbered fellas. The bass fall run started out o.k.,now there is not much going on. Montauk has been slow the last 2 1/2 weeks, lotsa scoolies around but it seems as if the larger fish are gone or few and far between. Our water temps are still up, 55*-57*, so who da hell knows. Blackfish reports have been good, maybe I should forget the bass and target the blackfish [or the occasional monster mako] Any of you Conn./ Jersey guys see any bass around? :-/

RI guy, and with the weekly storms we have been getting bang with, WE HAD NO FALL RUN!! >:(

Black fish all the way!! Black fish on lite tackle is a blast!!

that's what alot of people are sayin' around here [Long Island,N.Y.] storms and the WIND has blown all the bait elsewhere....and the stripers follow ???Next two or three days will be fish-able gotta give it a go

There are some I am sure, I am waiting for the power pack for the motor, Hopefully today?

Then I will put on, and go for a ride and see if it fixes the boat, If not then I am one for the year, if fixed then I might try for some tog?

Weather is getting crap and soon we will be in the snow!
If I had a Carport or something I would not care, but I don't so I have to cover it at some point :'(

Mostly schoolies around but also heard the blacks were good. Going ioff Sandy hook, Nj in the mornin let ya know what happens.

well I got out for a couple of hours today, armed w/ eels......no birds, no bait, no splashes, no hits, no run-offs, didn't see anybody else hookin' up.....the guys fishing for blacks probably were....if nothing else it was a beautiful day on the L.I. Sound, the boat is running great seas were calm, nice and warm w/ the enclosure......I guess I'm done w/ the bass, not to many outings left before I winterize. Have to try a couple of blackfish trips before I button it up. Maybe I'll venture out to see TheTinMan this week for a blackfish charter. :) ::)
