Airslot sighted at CBBT...
 

Man, we had it all. *Forecast was for 70 & sunny, with light winds. *We had good reports and intell from yesterday and I was told that I had to get there asap. *The sun was definately shining on this dogs butt.

We arrive to the boat ramp this morning and it raining? ??? *This wasn't part of the plan. *Good thing I've got my enclosure,,,ooops, thats right, the boat goes in the shop tommorrow for that ???

We get it together and put together a decent catch. *Today was definately a tough bite. *We caught maybe 35 fsih total with a nice bunch going 25 -28 inch. *All fish were caught on light tackle and lures. *

Some buddies of mine fishing eels last night hung a 51 & 52 lb'er. *They were launching as we were loading on the trailer. *It wasn't the day I dreamed of, but we had fun.

Being a weather forecaster has got to be the best job in the world. You get paid a bunch of money to be wrong half the time.

The rain amazed even the weather forecasters according to them on the news. Hey what do they know.

I was out there at the CBBT for 5 hours Sunday and got 1 tiny striper.

Thanks. The rain was amazing as it came and went several times all day. Those big slobs are coming from around plantation light if that helps anybody. Ah, the life of the weather man.

They were north of Kiptopeake, so it had to be more in the area of Plantation Light.
