Rock fish report.
Fished out of Kiptopeake yesterday. Ended up going around Smith Island and heading north in patchy fog looking for birds & bait. Birds were hitting randomly and bait was not concentrated. Long story short, had to work for them but we caught about 12 stripers in the 20 to 30 lb. range and about 5 big chopper blues. Lost a bluefish at the boat that was the biggest I have ever seen, it had to be 20 pounds. All fish were caught on big, nasty, slimey, EEL's! 8)

Perty work SP. I'm jealous as I'm temporarily boatless. Glad to hear somebody is picking up the slack while I'm at work.

Turbo saw them up close after we caught them.. He is just wishes he was there to catch them ::) He also didnt mention he tried to drown me last week.
I didnt take any pics. They have to be over 40 pounds before I start taking pictures 8) |
