18 ft fisherman?
 

Does the 18 ft fisherman in the years '83-'85 have the same hull as the v 20? Does it give a dry ride?

Different hull than the V-20, can't comment on the ride though.

I have a 91 Sport 18 ....... it is a pretty dry ride up to a 2 ft chop, then you get a little (very little) spray when you 1/4 against the wind and waves ......... in comparison to other boats I've been in it's very dry .......

You'll get sprayed in a 20 too, with a 1/4 wind. Billy Mac ;D

Just wanted to be totally honest ........ in reality, I've been in many boats that were larger and much much wetter

i got a 1990 18 sport....2200lbs is the dry hull weight..same weight as a V20....for its size you'll find it hard to find another boat that handle and rides like it....i love my 18 too...but i do have 2ft'itis and would like a V20 center console someday or a cape horn 19ft
