Here's a typical set-up we use pullin' live blue-back herring around...elec motor easin' boat along just enough to keep 4 free-lines out behind boat...2 down-lines in middle rod-holders...dependin' on where we're markin' fish, they can be between 8' and 40'...the 2 front free-lines are on side-planer-boards to hold 'em OUT ...I call 'em the ''reach-out-and-TOUCH" lines ;D ...

Looks like is CORRECT!! ::) ... now if all these fish on the sonar would just bite ;D ;D ...we were markin' so many fish under the boat, Lowrance would be proud to use it in their advertising!! 8) ... just no bite :P ...

What kind of hook do you use on each? Same on all or different depending on free vs. down etc.?

Wide-Bend Eagle Claw Laser-Sharp...can't remember the size and the boat's not here to go look...same hook on free-lines and down-lines, but drop to a smaller one if bait is small :D ...

Some of the guys around use Kale hooks, but I've tried 'em and like these better... :) ...

They stick a frigging video tape in those things... it plays over and over... all you see on Lowrance is either fake or simulated s***t ;D ;D
