Who here repowered with the Suzi 150?

One of our members, in Joisey if I remember, repowerd with a 150 'Zuki this spring. Looking for an update on how its working out.

Thanks...

My 140 is fantastic! Between my son and I, we have put 200 hrs on it since July! I wouldn't be surprised if we put another 50 hrs on it this season. I don't have any direct experience with the 150 but the word is that it is another really great power plant.

Hey Slotsky...how long's the 150 been out??...bet that's a sweety...did they tune the 140 up some more or bigger block??...

Bet once they get that established in the market, they phase out the 140, unless big weight difference... ;) ...

RAP, the 150 & 175 have been out for better than a year now. They weigh something along the lines of 470#'s, and are referred to as "Big Bore" 4 cylinders in the ads, maybe big block, can't remember. The 175 has variable valve timing. At this point in time, thats sort of my emergency backup plan. You know, just in case things go south. The wife and kids will just have to eat lunch every other day ;D

Somebody here in New Jersey hung a 150 this spring, but I can't find the post?

Hey folks... just found this website and signed up... I've got a '74 V-20 CC and just repowered with a Zuke 150 4 stroke... install went fine... CG of boat isn't affected much with the extra weight (475 lb vs. 385 lb on old Johnson 150)... should be a nice powerplant for several years... If you do repower, make sure to get cables about a foot longer than the old ones... for some reason, the new cables just seem shorter side-by-side with the old ones... no idea why... just an FYI.

GREAT to see some similar boats out there to mine!!! Glad I found the site.

My 140 weighs in at 410. And it works like a dream.

I am assuming they got the 150-175 right as well.
