Checked Out a Boat
 

I checked out this boat last night.

Not a bad boat but the deck in the back was definitely soft in a 2 foot by 2 foot section in the back middle of the floor. Also, there were little cracks in the corners of the fiberglass where the transome extended, although it didn't seem to be a big problem.

The engine was real clean and overall the boat was in pretty decent shape but the $14,400 price tag was a little steep. About the engine, it's a 1996 Johnson carborated.

FYI - this boat was listed earlier this week for $13,400 on Boats.com. I am 100% certain. It's now listed at $14,400. Don't know if it was a typo in the listing or what - May help you in negotiating if you pursue it.

There is an '85 v-20 in Warwick, RI on boats.com - I'll post the link below but it's really long. $12,900 seems a little high - especially since it's underpowered with a 115hp engine (based on what I have read on these boards). But it looks like it's in good condition.
