That's one way to keep from blockin' that pesky center-mounted splashwell drain...and it looks like you'd better keep that hole OPEN :-*

Might want to install a dual controller at the helm. No wait, one engine may be a spare.

I would like to see it when it is wired and in the water. Thats a lot of weight hanging off that transom.I would guess 900lbs or more. Capt K

That's mine now...looked her over and the hull is very solid and the transom work is tied in at all the right places and then some. Faster than I ever need to go, but fun. The wife won't want me to go past the jetties with just one engine. The engines are saltwater engines. Counterrotating. The lower units came off of both engines without a single seized bolt! The timing was off at idle(a lot), but full throttle was right on. The engines are in suprizingly good shape. Less the 10% leakdown on each cylinder. I'll either need to put on trim tabs or shims to clock the engines down a little more; they need less trim at low speeds. I had her out on the water yesterday and for the first time full throttle over a few miles. 74.2mph, but the rpms were a little high at 6000rpm. I'm thinking 5500rpm WOT. And another 50 something gallons of fuel forward in the boat. I have a long list of things to do now. I'll post so ya'll can let me know what is stupid and what isn't.
