Looking to buy an old, or scrap tandem axle trailer. (Don't actually need the trailer, just the title). I have an untitled trailer that I want to rebuild, but I can't put it on the road without a valid registration. If anyone has a worthless trailer that they are going to scrap I'll buy the title. Destroyer,can't you go to the motor vehicle office and tell them it's a home made/built trailer and you need a title and to register it? If you build your own trailer how can I title it? They should help you ,but after all this is New Jersey
Years ago I had a home built trailer that I had registered.

Ive got an old boat trailer thats not usable anymore, V20 came on it. I'll look for the title, you can have it if I can find it.

Florida doesn't use titles on trailers under 2 thousand pounds.

I need a registration for a trailer, any trailer without a vin, that weighs under 2k if anyone has one, they wouldn't mind signing over to me.

Been several years without a plate, not caught yet, fingers crossed.

Thinking I might just buy a small utility trailer and use that tag for both, since no VIN is required to match the tag/registration.

Dave, that might work, i have 2 utility trailers and 1 tag that i bounce back and forth as i can only pull one at a time.

Hey Destroyer, I found that title. PM me your address and I'll send it to you. The guy I bought the boat trailer from signed it but I never got it changed to my name. You should be ok to sign it and have it transferred.
