I'm not telling you how much I added ,I want you to tell me just to see if I was right
50-1.------ 11 gallons of gas is how much oil to add?

Thanks, I added 29 oz s. Close enought, the reason I asked is because I just disconnected the oil injection system and am surprised on how much oil it takes. 2.6 oz per gallon. It really adds up.

The only time your engine needs 50 to 1 is when your running wide open. At idle, only need 100 to 1. That is the great thing about oil injection, it meters the oil as needed, not WOT like premix

Dave ,that's a good site, oil calculator. Thanks and I understand 50-1 at WOT but no one runs there boat all the time at WOT. And it says my motor mix should be 50-1 I know the injection system is great but mine failed. It worked for 34 years. That's pretty dam good I think plus I put a lot of money into the system replacing ,monitors,oil cap sending unit,3 way check valve plus more stuff I can't think of. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore,
