Hard to believe this now in America

The Republican Party has officially labeled, and is trying to sell the Insurrection attempt at our Capitol as “ legitimate political discourse”

Impossible to imagine this in America ?
Violent mob, fighting and injuring over 100 of our police, smashing into our Capitol while making terroristic threats to hang our Vice President as “ legitimate.”

Yes, several leading Republicans strongly disagree and have called it what it was, but like bricks being removed one by one, the structure of American integrity is being dismantled by Trumpism.

This report carried by nearly all news sources and was declared by Republicans at their Salt Lake City meeting.

Hard to believe you've started 8 threads about Jan 6.

Who wants to go the over/under on bgreene's 9th thread on it?

I'm setting the bar at 5 days.

That would be a fools bet. If he would provide a link where I didn’t have to subscribe to a far left site to read it, I’d probably give it a look, but those sources are so prone to leap to ridiculously extreme conclusions and then report them as hard news, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be a waste of time.

Bricks being removed? Are you completely blind to the wrecking ball the Democrats are taking to the integrity of the Congress, political discourse in general, destructive policies, directly responsible for death, bankruptcy of many small businesses (lots of them minority owned), disgrace on the world stage, etc.

If you had any rational concern for the nation, you would have to be addressing those very real threats.

Oh and another lie “Fox news a complete sham”.

And another - Trump’s a liar for saying he wouldn’t have much time for golf as president, then discovering that he did. Able to conduct business on the golf course.

Scookie! In love with the word lie applied to the facts I provided ! Whoopie !
Even this little fact you deny:
1. Trump said “ Obama plays too much golf and as President he wouldn’t have time for golf because he’d be too busy working !
2. FACT …..Trump then spent MORE days of his Presidency than Obama on the golf course.

Now scook replies with “ yeh but, yeh but bla bla bla lies this lies that …….
Silly man .

Pipe - your poor attempt to avoid the subject is noted .

scook 02-10-2022 04:28 PM

YOU have the temerity to accuse ANYONE of avoiding the subject? We are now in the twilight zone.

bgreene 02-10-2022 08:23 PM

The FACT IS……the FACT IS ….can you read ? The FACT IS the Republican Party officially labeled the attack on our Capitol as a “ legitimate political discourse”

This is a disgusting demonstration of how trump has influenced many in the Republican Party.

And yes, even Mitch McConnell spoke up to say NO THATS JUST WRONG !!

scook 02-10-2022 09:37 PM

I can read quite well and also competently process what I read.

From reading even your link, it’s very clear that they did NOT do that - they labeled the peaceful protest as legitimate political discourse. Your “know it all, judge” nonsense is foolish and your extreme confirmation bias or some other serious problem is blinding you to the OBVIOUS truth of what the RNC said and did.

Scook, we all know that he's an elitist snob that thinks that only his opinion is correct. He's blind to anything and everything that doesn't fit into his little world.
