This one's been F/S for a while
Maybe he's willing to cut a sweet deal. In Joisy I believe.

You're right, I saw that thing on ebay a LONG time ago and it was a combo deal w/that old suburban then too.

Been on the blocks for a year anyways. ???

Re: This one's been F/S for a while
Thread recently about beefin' up old station wagon for tow-motor only...I'd be more inclined to find an old Suburban like that for that purpose...you'd start off WAY ahead of the game and not spend any more $$$...
If he'd take a little off that boat, it'd move... ;)... |
Re: This one's been F/S for a while
Take a little off. Why would I do that? The one on e-bay is a piece of crap. I've been using this one. I'm just surprised no one's jumped on it.

Re: This one's been F/S for a while
What's your idea of a little off? I'm thinking the boat motor and trailer honestly can't be worth less than $3500. That's really not a lot for a fully functional boat that really only needs cosmetics if you were into that sort of thing.

Re: This one's been F/S for a while
Drews...did not mean to ruffle your feathers...I don't think that's what the board is intended to do...I don't disagree that your boat is worth the asking price, but SOMETHING has kept it from moving... :)...

Re: This one's been F/S for a while
For some reference, if you check out the NADA site (nada.com), a 75 v20 with an 85 boat and trailer has an average retail selling price of $2460 ($1500 hull, $540 motor, $420 trailer). Also, law in NJ (and many other states) is have to have seperate breaks for trailer if trailering over 3000 lbs, not sure if your trailer has them. The v20s with motor, trailer with fuel and equipment are over 3000 lbs.

Is it any wonder why this has not sold yet? ;D
Drew do you have any better pics of it? |

The real price of this boat is, $3,800, because I have it and it's for sale at that price, I don't have to sell it, and I've had several interested parties in the past month. It'll eventually go at that price. I'm sure you can just stroll down to the NADA spare boat outllet and have them forklift a V20 off the shelf along with the engine and trailer and have them throw a bow on it for you and then just cut them a check for $2,450. I spent a month just looking for the motor, and it was considerably more than I wanted to pay. But, hey, I needed and engine at the time. So much for the NADA discount spare boat outlet theory. |
