Wake up people. No new posts or threads for days now. I'm sure that someone, somewhere is doing something to their boat, or planning a trip, or buying or selling something. There's no reason to keep it open and this site will die if there's no discussions guys. :embarsed:

Yeah i was wondering the same thing. We re in our deep winter mode here, highs only in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 30s. It s either cold or raining. Been avoiding people, jus working on stuff around our house and daughters. Be glad to post up some pics of the paver install and fence.

Bought an air fryer, learned how to make char siu pork, grill cheese sandwiches& English muffins. Still like my fish dropped in 360 degree peanut oil.

That s about it for me

Completely agree on the fish in oil thing. To my mind, air fryers are really just mini convection ovens, and I have one of them built into my wall already. Nothing beats an oil fryer. Never used Peanut oil. I always use Canola. Think I'll have to give it a try.

It's winter and we are getting hammered with snow now and my boat is under wraps for the winter plus I was asking so many questions I thought I would give it a rest for awhile. My motor didn't start and I'm going to go over it from front to back since she is in my driveway now. I want to replace the fuel line and was told it's ok to use auto fuel line,is that good? Plus this virus is getting old and Trump wad robbed and we were robbed so I feel there is a lot of bitterness out there, I know I'm pissed off about that . Biden is very bad for our country .

As far as I know, Automotive fuel line has little to no UV resistance. Stick with the Marine grade. In all cases whatever you use make sure it's alcohol resistant.

Yep on the virus thing getting old.

Yep on Trump being robbed.

Yep on Biden being bad.

I know there are some here that don't agree with those sentiments so I'm not elaborating on anything, just agreeing with you, but oh Lord is there so much more I could say. Biting my lip.

Skunkboat: I am so jealous of your boat. I gotta admit it. Congrats on being able to afford all that stuff. I'd probably be interested in your radar except my 18 mile Raymarine is hooked to a chartplotter/GPS unit. Tight lines and calm seas.

With deer hunting season over me and my hunting buddies have been working on the hunting property, trails, shooting lanes, and whatnot. The 1999 honda foreman 450 has been giving me issues for the last 2 years with the electric shift. I replaced angle sensor and replaced the shift motor which got me by for a while, then it stopped shifting again. I ended up installing a shift bypass system that goes around the ECU. That eliminated all the speed/angle sensors, etc. and anything related to the infamous ECU that is known to give problems with the older machines. After that it shifted like a new one. Replaced rear brakes, installed new CV axle boots. My buddy had recently bought a polaris 570 sportsman atv, and I have other friends that have the sportsman models. One of my other friends has a Polaris Ranger 900 - I always liked that ride. So I decided to start looking to replace the foreman. In case anyone doesn't know, the ATV/UTV market is exploding right now. The dealerships can barely keep anything in stock. I have a buddy that ordered a Polaris Sportsman 1000 3 months ago and still doesn't have it. Anyway, I kept looking for a week or two, then one became available about 45 min drive from my house. So, I ended up getting a Ranger 1000 (not xp). So far it has been a nice upgrade. The wife likes it too. She was never a big fan of riding the atv but she loves being able to ride beside me in the UTV. Hunting property is about ~2 miles down the road, so I got a SMV triangle and magnetic blinking yellow lights for the back. Now instead of trailering to the deer land I just ride down the road, which is pretty cool! Got the top and windshield so far, but will be getting the rear windshield at some point. Anybody else got Sportsman or Ranger or UTV?
