Fuel tank ?
Any experience on how long the PLASTIC fuel tank lasts ?
Most likely my 1996 V21 poly fuel tank is original. My old Mako had aluminum tank that developed pin hole within the usual 10-15 years Replaced that by lifting console etc, but with V21 would require cutting deck . |

We do, however, have to be concerned with the hoses leading to and from our tanks. The average lifespan of them is normally 10-15 years. (I replaced all my hoses when I had my deck off, (2015) and truthfully they all looked good. I just figured it was cheap insurance to replace them since they were so easy to access). |
That’s what I’m learning too D.
I had the hoses changed when I got the Etec so I should be good for years. |
D - if you have pics of below deck / tank stringers etc it would be interesting to see how it was built in 96’

What amount of glass did the factory appear to use to encapsulate the stringers ? |
