Parts Wanted

Well we got the boat shed off the V. Damage was not as bad as i thought, mainly the side windshield. If anybody has one they are going to scrap. I need the side glass and the top channel that the glass fits in.

Let me know what cha got.

There was a guy on eBay about a month ago that had what you are looking for but his prices and his shipping were outrageous. Almost $200 for the glass plus another $88 for the shipping. :head:

Thanks D, i was hoping someone on here had one they were going to scrap, still very limited internet, having to work off of cell phone hot spots. Hard to surf net very long. I tried to send 3 squids a pm, but i m not sure it went thru.

Also sent u some new photos, i think, check your email.

Worst case, i ll put a piece of plexiglass in and make a top piece out of teak, kinda hillbilly, but that s not new to me.

Every day gets better

I didn’t get a message but I’m here haha. I’m not sure yet what I’m doing with the boat yet. I’ll either be selling it complete or parting it out. It really all depends on if I can get the motor fired up. Haven’t had much luck yet with it but haven’t had time to try a few other things. I’m hoping to have it figured out by next weekend. If I do decide to part it out you’re more than welcome to the parts you will just have to cover shipping. I’ll be happy to box it up and send it to you just may be a bit pricy. But definitely worth it if you can’t find one local.

And yea that guy in eBay is ridiculous. If I did try to sell the windshield I don’t think I’d be able to get more than $100 for the whole works. But like I said anyone here can have anything they need. Only thing I’ll be keeping for my V-21 is the trailer and rub rail, and maybe the fuel tank if it’s bigger then the one I already have.

Thanks reel, your not going to south ga for thanksgiving are u?

Great motor , i ran the oil injection on mine for 20 years and 1500 hours. The sensor in the tank failed and i ran it dry. Totally my fault, always eye ball tank level. Very easy motors to work on.

Some will advise to ditch the oil injection, might be something to consider.

My 93' 200hp Merc had mechanical oil injection. There was nothing wrong with it but with all the warnings about the gear melting I decided to put in an electronic oil injection. Best move I ever made. Never have had a problem with the engine as far as oil goes. Unfortunately, the company that made the electronic unit seems to have gone out of business. I'm guessing the reason is because everyone now makes a reliable oil injection system.

If I was keeping it, I would ditch the auto oiler...hear of too many failures to trust it...not that hard to mix and be sure...but I will leave that up to the buyer...I've been advised to ask 2000 to 2500 for it, but offering to the V20.com guys for a no haggle price of 1500 w/controls and oil tank. If somebody doesn't get it soon, I'm gonna take it to a local shop to consign and they will price it...

Flyin to Houston for Thanksgiving...I can drop the windshield parts outta the plane, but the pilot might not appreciate it very much...:bat:
