07.08.2018 - Fishing on the V20
 

Yesterday, Michael and I went out with Sal and Lloyd on their V20 to try and catch some Fluke or Porgy's. We had a great day on the water and for a couple of us the Fluke weren't cooperating. We did manage 4 nice porgy's 2 by Lloyd and 2 by me and Lloyd wasn't even fishing for them, I was. The Porgy's were given away to Lloyd's neighbor. Sal and Michael had one keeper each, Sal had a 19" Fluke, just made the cut and Michael a nice 20 1/2" Fluke. Here is my reasoning, I didn't catch any Fluke because I wasn't fishing for them, I was Porgy fishing. Does that excuse work? On the way back we had an extra hour before their was enough of water to get in, so we docked the boat and went into the Bay House Waterfront Bar and Grill. They have excellent food, their burgers are to kill for. They have reasonable prices and the drinks are reasonable also. All in all it was a great day on the water with friends.
