Been reading the chicago tribune again

Trump is Trump... So far all of his cabinet picks have been made with mostly business oriented personnel, which is right in line with his promises to run the government like a business. I don't know that I agree with all his choices, but then again, I'm not a billionaire either... so for now I'll defer to him on who's best for what position. :head:

Remember guys, it took decades for us to get into the place we are in right now. He's not going to be able to change all that in a few weeks.. Hell, he's not even in office yet, so lets see how we feel about him in a few years. 2020 is always an option if we don't like him, but my bet is that we will vote him into office a second time. :beer:

A bit curious about the whole Russia thing........CIA reports proof of hacking to enhance anti Clinton on wikilinks.....and Trump adds Russia connected guys into his team.

I'm not.....repeat.....NOT participating in a liberal vs etc argument.....just making the statement, and we'll see where this goes once he's in office.

Also read that the day Trump takes office, he'll be breaking USA federal law if he hasn't yet disconnected from his businesses.

Not a day goes by, i don't break 2 or 3 federal laws, and thats just the ones i know about.

You read fake news. There is no stature that says that a person has to disconnect him or herself from their business while being president. In fact, most early presidents were farmers and ran their farm (business) while they were in office. (That's why there are term limits on being president, because the framers of the constitution could not conceive of anyone wanting to be away from their farm for very long, so they made the term limit to force people to stay in office for at least 4 years). Of course that pendulum has swung the other way now, but that's why term limits were originally mandated.

As for the Russian thing, Jullian Asage, the publisher of Wikileaks, on Hannity today, stated very clearly that the source of the Wikileaks info he published about Jon Podesta's emails did NOT come from Russia. He denied it completely. And the guys that Trump has added are connected to Russia, England, France, China, Germany, the middle east, etc. They are global businessmen and players on the world stage. So unless you're afraid of England or France turning against us I wouldn't worry all that much. (And I'd remind everyone that we already do HUGE amounts of business with China, one of the most repressive communist regimes on Earth).

CIA info wrong ?

As I wrote, interesting times. For the sake of it, I'd bet if Clinton had won, and the Russia hacking thing was in reverse, instead of discounting as nonsense, Mr. Trump would be making a lot of noise.
And this isn't to say that I'm not pro Trump on certain issues, because I am.
I tend to side with Arnold Schwartzenneger....he's strong Republican, thought Trump ultimately not the right guy, but is hopeful, and encourages bi partisanship now. Arnold's also a strong environmentalist. Go Arnold.........he'll be back.

I can't see Arnold in one of our V's though........more like a 50' CC with triple 7 Marine 626hps.

Actually Trump DID say something about the Russians hacking MONTHS ago, oblamer discredited and his words were Trump should quit whining about it and worry about winning. The CIA said MONTHS ago that there was no hacks, the emails were released by internal whistleblowers tired of seeing what was going on, but now that she lost, they've changed there story. And if you watch any of the non main stream news, they point out what evidence has been shown to prove Russia did do any hacking. So far it has been unsubstantiated conjecture with zero proof behind it. So we have reports from MONTHS ago backing up what Assange is saying now, and there has even been internal dnc staff who came forward before and said the leaks came from whistle blowers, but the butthurt democrats have now moved on and are blaming the Russians. So who will they blame next?
