By pass oil injection
I'm thinking of by passing my oil injection system, I have a 1988 150 2 stroke mercury outboard, is it hard to do? Can I get a step by step procedure to do it, I'm not the best mechanic but I can do some repairs Thanks for any help

It's pretty easy to do. You take the fitting out of the bl9ck for the hose that runs to the oil tank and plug it, disconnect the oil feed line from the fuel line and cap it off, then remove the pump and driveshaft, and install the pkastic block off. You need to use the bl8ck off made for it as it has a stickout on it that goes in and holds thedriveshaft bushing into the block so it can't fall out. Then you'll need to disconnect the warning module if its still on there.

Just looked and tge plug is mercury 43453t. You'll also need the shorter screws for it.
