weakfish & bass
Got out at 4pm for a recon of the bass bite. Hard NW wind so I had to stay tight to the beach. Found acres of 9 inch weakfish off Spring Lake, no bass.
Tied up after sunset and the marina was paved with rainfish, getting blasted by 12 inch herring and bass. Caught a few of each and took some cool pix. So you must have seen the dancing elephants on the horizon. Am waiting myself to get out fishing I think tomorrow is a go! By the way I like the picture of the food chain.

Acres of weakfish is a great sign, considering how depleted they have been in recent years. Almost nothing tastes as good as sea trout and a beer.
